(Update June 21) 4 of the 5 teams did not make it past the quarter finals. The teams battled hard and put on a good show. The Crossfire teams came away from the championships with many positives to build on for the coming season. Crossfire G91A, who have in the past been champions at Regionals, came out of the 2009 tournament as undefeated champions again!! They will now go on to the Nationals in Lancaster, Mass, July 21-26. (Update June 17) All 5 teams are now through to the quarters. The teams will have a rest day tomorrow and then back on the pitch Friday. This might be a Crossfire record, with all Crossfire teams attending Regionals making it out of group play!!
(June 15, 2009) Crossfire Premier Soccer Club is very proud to have 5 teams playing in the 2009 Far West Regionals in Lancaster, CA. The teams arrived in Lancaster on Friday and after opening ceremonies over the weekend games begin today. Watch this space as we follow Crossfire B92A Henderson, Crossfire B95A McCormick, Crossfire B96A Spidahl, Crossfire B90A Lombard, and Crossfire 91A McCormick make their way through the tournament.
